Informa Markets is pleased to announce a strong alliance with VietShrimp, a leading event in the aquaculture sector. \u201cThe synergies of these two well recognised brands will bring together each partner\u2019s individual strengths, to support the growth and development of aquaculture in Vietnam, especially the shrimp industry,\u201d<\/em> said Ian Roberts, Vice President – Asia, Informa Markets.<\/p>\n

Since the inaugural VietShrimp International Aquaculture Fair in 2016, it has earned a well-deserved reputation as a business platform to advance Vietnam\u2019s seafood industry, in particular the shrimp sector, which is vital for Vietnam’s economy. VietShrimp will continue to serve as a platform for industry stakeholders, including farmers, scientists, and businesses, to share knowledge, best practices, and innovative solutions. This approach aligns with Vietnam’s target of achieving 7 million tonnes of aquaculture production by 2030.<\/p>\n

As a world leader in trade fairs, Informa Markets’ involvement is expected to further consolidate the event’s value and effectiveness. Informa Markets\u2019 strong international and regional network will deliver even more value. This will help achieve even greater reach for VietShrimp exhibitors and visitors in the Mekong River Delta region and beyond and make greater contributions to the long-term development and competitiveness of the industry.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe 2025 edition of VietShrimp<\/strong> will take place on March 26-28, in Can Tho City, Vietnam<\/strong>, with the theme \u2018Greening Farming.\u2019 Sustainable practices to enhance production while mitigating environmental impacts will be highlighted. The event will emphasise the importance of a circular economy in shrimp farming, focusing on recycling waste and reducing environmental pollution. This initiative reflects a shared commitment to sustainability between Informa Markets and VietShrimp. Such collaboration is essential for addressing challenges in the shrimp industry and fostering a cooperative approach to sustainability,\u201d concluded Ian Roberts.<\/p>\n
