VietShrimp Asia 2026 & Aquaculture Vietnam 2026 Officially Opens – Ushering in a New Era of Smart Aquaculture and Global Integration

VietShrimp Asia 2026 & Aquaculture Vietnam 2026 officially opened on the morning of 18 March 2026 in a formal and vibrant atmosphere, welcoming representatives from the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, along with leaders from industry associations, aquaculture enterprises, and a large number of domestic and international industry professionals.

Representing the Organising Committee, Mr. Ben Wong – Country General Manager of Informa Markets Vietnam, delivered the opening remarks, extending a warm welcome to distinguished guests, strategic partners, and the global aquaculture business community attending the exhibition. In his address, he emphasised that “Aquaculture Vietnam and VietShrimp Asia are not just exhibitions, but part of a long-term journey to connect the aquaculture industry, linking international innovation with local practice, and regional markets with on-the-ground realities.”

According to the Mr. Ben Wong, the organization of specialised industry events such as VietShrimp Asia and Aquaculture Vietnam plays a vital role in fostering technological innovation, enhancing the competitiveness of businesses, and expanding international collaboration opportunities for Vietnam’s aquaculture sector.

During the Opening Ceremony, Mr. Le Viet Binh, Deputy Chief of Office of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment also shared: “I believe that the exhibition will be elevated in scale, professionalism, and international reach, thereby creating more opportunities for connection, collaboration, and technology transfer for Vietnam’s aquaculture industry.”

Continuing the program, Session 2: The AI Revolution in Aquaculture Industry, which began at 1:30 PM, focused on the application of artificial intelligence and digital transformation in aquaculture farm management and operations. Speakers introduced a variety of innovative technological solutions, including water quality monitoring systems, optimized feeding processes, aquaculture data analytics, and disease forecasting tools. The practical models and international experiences shared during the session opened new pathways for modernizing the industry and promoting the sustainable development of aquaculture.
